If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the Skeleton Coast National Park entrance, located near the town of Palmwag. Follow the D1986 road southwards for approximately 70 kilometers. The road may be gravel, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road driving. Watch for wildlife crossing the road and drive cautiously. After about 70 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Pink Lake. The lake is located a short distance off the main road, so you may need to follow a dirt track for about 2 kilometers to arrive at the lake.

Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in the Skeleton Coast area. However, you can take a shuttle or bus service from Swakopmund to Skeleton Coast. Once you reach the Skeleton Coast, you may need to hire a local taxi or a guide with a 4x4 vehicle to reach Pink Lake. Make arrangements in advance as these services may not be readily available. Expect to pay around 500 NAD (Namibian Dollars) for a taxi ride to the lake from the nearest drop-off point.
