Bus
From Usakos, head to the nearest bus station and board a bus heading to Sesriem. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they stop at Sesriem, as it is the gateway to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. The bus ride generally takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at Sesriem, disembark at the bus station.
Shuttle / Tour Operator
At the Sesriem bus station, you can find local tour operators or shuttles that offer day trips to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Make arrangements with one of these operators. The journey from Sesriem to Deadvlei takes approximately 45 minutes. Ensure you have enough time to explore the area before returning.
