Walking
If you are in the center of Walvis Bay, start at the Walvis Bay Waterfront. Head south on Theo-Ben Gurirab Avenue towards the intersection with the B2 highway. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the B2. Cross the road and continue walking along the B2 highway towards the salt works. After about 2.5 kilometers, you will see the entrance to Walvis Bay Salt Works on your left. The total walking distance is approximately 3 kilometers from the waterfront, and it should take about 30-40 minutes.

If you have access to a bicycle, start your journey at the Walvis Bay Waterfront. Cycle south on Theo-Ben Gurirab Avenue until you reach the B2 highway. Turn left onto the B2 highway and continue cycling for about 2.5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Walvis Bay Salt Works on your left. This route is relatively flat and should take around 10-15 minutes by bike.
