Informative Experience

If you’re into museums, history, and seeing the everyday local life of Zambians from various economic groups then I recommend this tour. Depending on the kind of person you are/your own background…some parts can be depressing to see and learn of the life of certain groups, but it is also very eye opening and shows the resilience and kindness of Zambians. The guides were exceptionally informative, kind, hospitable, and pickup and drop-off was seamless.

We had several individual excursions we wanted to do in Livingstone. Rather than individually search for the best price , HSM Adventures put the package together covering all the activities in a highly compressed time frame. Our costs also benefited from rates that we would not otherwise have got. In total, we booked 8 activities and 2 airport transfers with HSM- basically all our ground arrangements in Livingstone, with excursions into Chobe, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Throughout the process, communication was professional and proactive. In particular , I was always able to speak with the owner Howard over WhatsApp. He always gave detailed and comprehensive responses. As this was a honeymoon, we really wanted everything to go smoothly and it did. I would be very happy to recommend HSM for activities on Livingstone.

My 5-day adventure trip with Bushshrike Safaris exceeded all expectations. From the moment we were picked up, everything was professionally organized, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife. Their ability to track animals and share interesting facts about the ecosystem made every game drive exciting and educational. We were fortunate to see a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, antelope, and many bird species. What stood out most was the balance between adventure and cultural experiences. The guided bush walks provided a unique perspective on nature, while the cultural interactions gave us valuable insight into local traditions and communities. The itinerary was well-paced, offering plenty of activities without feeling rushed. The accommodation was comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt welcome. The smaller group size created a more personal and intimate experience, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of the wilderness. Overall, Bushshrike Safaris delivered an unforgettable adventure filled with incredible wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and excellent hospitality.
