Car
From Zambezi, head south on the A1 road towards the town of Kariba. The drive is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. As you approach Kariba, follow the signs directing you to the Kariba Dam. Once you reach the dam, look for signs indicating the direction to Matusadona National Park. Continue east along the shoreline of Lake Kariba, where you will find the park entrance. Please note that there may be a park entrance fee, which is generally paid in cash.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a minibus from the Zambezi bus station heading toward Kariba. The cost for this journey is typically around $5-10 USD. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Kariba, you can hire a taxi or join a local shuttle service to take you to the entrance of Matusadona National Park.
