Car
From Zambezi, head south towards the main road (B8) which connects Namibia to Zambia. Follow the B8 for approximately 2 hours until you reach the border post at Katima Mulilo. Here, you will need to cross into Zambia. Make sure to have your passport and any necessary visas ready for inspection. After completing immigration checks, continue on the road towards Livingstone, Zambia. After about another hour, you will reach Livingstone. From Livingstone, follow signs to Victoria Falls. The entrance to Zambezi National Park is located just outside of Victoria Falls.
Public Transportation
From Zambezi, take a local bus or minibus taxi heading to Katima Mulilo. These usually leave from designated taxi ranks in town. The journey to Katima Mulilo takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival, you can catch another bus or minibus heading towards Livingstone, Zambia. Ensure to ask the driver if they stop at Victoria Falls. The total travel time may take around 3 to 4 hours, depending on waiting times. Once in Livingstone, you can take a taxi to Zambezi National Park, which is approximately 30 minutes away.
Combination (Car and Taxi)
If you prefer a more private option, you can hire a car in Zambezi. Head towards Katima Mulilo via the B8, which takes about 2 hours. After crossing the border into Zambia, drive towards Livingstone. Upon reaching Livingstone, you can either continue driving to Zambezi National Park or park your vehicle and take a taxi to the park entrance, which is roughly 30 minutes away.
