Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Gretna, Nebraska. From I-80, take the NE-31 exit (Exit 432) towards Gretna. Follow NE-31 for about 3 miles. Schramm Park State Recreation Area is located at 20874-21146 NE-31, on the right side of the road. There is ample parking available at the park entrance.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus to Omaha's main transit center. From there, catch the Metro Transit Route 2 bus heading south to Gretna. Once you arrive in Gretna, it is approximately a 1.5-mile walk to Schramm Park State Recreation Area. Alternatively, consider using a rideshare service from the transit center for a more direct route.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, there are scenic routes along NE-31. Ensure you have proper safety gear and follow road safety rules. The path is generally bike-friendly, but be cautious of traffic. The distance from downtown Gretna to Schramm Park is about 3 miles.

• Walking

  If you are already in Gretna and prefer to walk, head south along NE-31. It is approximately a 1.5-mile walk from the downtown area to the park. Be mindful of traffic as you walk along the roadside.
