To reach the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph at 80 S Market St, San Jose, CA from downtown Fremont, first find the nearest bus stop. Take the 31 bus heading towards San Jose. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'San Jose Diridon Station.' From there, transfer to the VTA light rail and take the 'Blue Line' towards Baypointe. Get off at 'San Antonio' station. Walk east on W San Carlos St for about 10 minutes until you reach S Market St. Turn left, and the Cathedral will be on your right.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local bike shop in Fremont. Start from the downtown area and head towards E 23rd St. Follow the bike lane to connect to the nearby trails leading south towards San Jose. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach downtown San Jose, navigate to S Market St by following the signs. The Cathedral Basilica will be visible from several blocks away.

Board the bus to San Jose and follow the instructions for the public bus option above. Once you arrive at San Jose Diridon Station, walk east on W San Carlos St, which will take approximately 20 minutes. Turn left onto S Market St, and you will find the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph on your right.
