    From downtown Fremont, start on N Broad St heading west. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto W 23rd St and continue for about a mile until you reach the intersection with W State Lakes Rd. Turn right on W State Lakes Rd and bike approximately 2 miles. The Fremont State Recreation Area will be on your left.

    If you are near the Fremont Public Library, take the Fremont Public Transit bus from the library to the nearest stop at the Walmart on W 23rd St. From there, walk west along W 23rd St for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with W State Lakes Rd. Turn right on W State Lakes Rd and walk approximately 2 miles. The Fremont State Recreation Area will be on your left.

    If you are starting from the Fremont City Park, head southwest on N D St for about 0.4 miles. Then, turn left onto W 23rd St and continue for about 1 mile until you reach W State Lakes Rd.
