Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from downtown Grand Island, head east on W 2nd St toward N Pine St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach N Walnut St. Turn left onto N Walnut St and walk for about 1 mile. You will come to a large intersection with US-34. Cross the street at the crosswalk, and you will be on the north side of US-34. Continue walking east along US-34. After about 0.6 miles, you will see the Stuhr Museum on your right at 3133 US-34.

    Starting from the Heartland Public Shooting Park, bike west on E 4th St until you reach N Sycamore St. Turn left onto N Sycamore St and ride for about 0.8 miles until you reach the intersection with US-34. Carefully cross over to the south side of US-34. Continue riding east along US-34 for about 1.2 miles, and you will see the Stuhr Museum on your right at 3133 US-34.

    From the Grand Island Central Bus Station located at 101 W 3rd St, take the Route 1 bus towards the East Village. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, exiting at the stop near the intersection of US-34 and N Walnut St. Once you get off the bus, walk east along US-34 for about 0.6 miles. The Stuhr Museum will be on your right at 3133 US-34.
