From any location in the Great Plains area, head towards the nearest major road that connects to US-26 or NE-71. If you are in a city like Scottsbluff, take US-26 west towards Gering. Continue on US-26 until you see the exit for NE-71. Merge onto NE-71 heading south. Follow NE-71 for approximately 5 miles until you reach the entrance of Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, which will be on your right at 210615 NE-71, Gering, NE 69341.
