    To reach Ponca State Park from anywhere in Nebraska National Forest, get on US-20 E from your current location. Follow US-20 E for approximately 45 miles until you reach the junction with NE-12 E. Take NE-12 E towards Niobrara. After about 15 miles, you will see signs for Ponca State Park. Turn left onto Spur 26 E and follow it for about 2 miles. The park entrance will be on your right at 88090 Spur 26 E, Ponca, NE 68770. Make sure to check for any state park entrance fees, which may apply.

    If you prefer public transportation, you will first need to take a bus to a nearby town with access to Ponca State Park. The closest major city is Sioux City, IA. From Nebraska National Forest, find a bus route that goes to Sioux City. Once in Sioux City, take a taxi or rideshare service to Ponca State Park.
