From the park, head east on E 6th St towards N Dewey St. Turn left onto N Dewey St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with E 4th St. Turn right onto E 4th St and walk straight until you reach the intersection with N Willow St. Continue north on N Willow St until you reach the bridge that crosses the North Platte River. Cross the bridge and follow any nearby trails leading towards the confluence area where the North Platte River meets the South Platte River.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the North Platte River Trail located near the North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce at 101 S Dewey St. Ride east along the North Platte River Trail until you reach the junction with the South Platte River.
