If you are starting from downtown Omaha, take Metro Transit bus route 2 (Blue Line) towards North Omaha. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop, and ride for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop at 30th and Lake St. From there, walk north on 30th Street for about 10 minutes. Fort Omaha will be located at 5730 N 30th St on your right.

From downtown Omaha, you can rent a bike through a bike-sharing program. Head north on 12th Street until you reach Cuming Street. Take a left on Cuming Street and continue until you reach 30th Street. Turn right onto 30th Street and ride north for about 2.5 miles. Fort Omaha will be on your left at 5730 N 30th St.

If you are near the North Omaha area, you can walk directly to Fort Omaha. Start at 30th and Lake Street, then walk north on 30th Street for about 10 minutes. Fort Omaha is located at 5730 N 30th St on your right, just past the intersection with Fort St.
