If you are starting from downtown Omaha, take the Metro Transit bus route 2 (Red Line) from the Omaha Public Library stop. Ride the bus for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the '16th & Douglas' stop. From there, walk east on Douglas Street for about 4 blocks until you reach Heartland of America Park, located at 800 Douglas St. The park will be on your left.

If you are already in the downtown area, you can walk to Heartland of America Park. Start at the Omaha Public Library located at 215 S 15th St. Head east on Farnam St for about 0.5 miles until you reach 16th St. Turn left on 16th St and walk north for one block. Continue onto Douglas St and walk east for about 2 blocks. The park entrance will be on your right at 800 Douglas St.
