From the heart of Old Market, head west on Farnam Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10 minutes). As you walk, you'll pass various shops and restaurants. Once you reach the intersection with 10th Street, turn left. Continue on 10th Street for two blocks until you reach Capitol Avenue. Turn right onto Capitol Avenue, and you will find The Capitol District at 1022 Capitol Ave, located on your left.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Old Market. Head west on Farnam Street, biking straight for about 0.5 miles (approximately 5 minutes). When you reach the intersection with 10th Street, turn left and bike for two blocks. At Capitol Avenue, turn right, and you will see The Capitol District at 1022 Capitol Ave on your left. Don't forget to return your bike at a designated station nearby.
Public Transit
To use public transit, locate the nearest bus stop in Old Market. You can take the Metro bus route that goes towards downtown. Board the bus heading towards the 'Omaha Downtown' stop, which should take around 10-15 minutes.
