If you're traveling by car from anywhere in Pine Ridge, start by heading west on US-20. Continue until you reach the junction with US-385. Take US-385 south toward Chadron. After about 40 miles, merge onto NE-2 E toward Lincoln. Stay on NE-2 for approximately 140 miles until you reach Lincoln. Once in Lincoln, take the exit for 27th St and turn left onto 27th St. Continue on 27th St, then turn right onto H St. The Thomas P. Kennard Historic Site will be on your left at 1627 H St.
