From the Rainwater Basin area, head northwest on NE-41 N. Continue for about 30 miles, then merge onto US-20 W. Follow US-20 W for approximately 70 miles until you reach Harrison, NE. Once in Harrison, navigate to River Rd and follow it until you reach the Agate Fossil Beds National Monument at 301 River Rd. The monument is approximately 3 miles northeast of Harrison.

There is limited public transportation in rural Nebraska. The best option is to take a Greyhound bus to a nearby city like Scottsbluff. From Scottsbluff, you may need to rent a car or use a rideshare service to reach Harrison, NE.
