Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Besisahar, which is accessible via the Prithvi Highway from Kathmandu or Pokhara. From Besisahar, head towards Jagat on the Besisahar - Chame Sadak road. The Octopus Waterfall is located about 5 km from Jagat. You can park your car at a suitable spot in Jagat and continue on foot.
Public Transportation
To reach Octopus Waterfall via public transportation, take a bus or jeep from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Besisahar. From Besisahar, you can catch a local bus or shared jeep to Jagat. Once in Jagat, the waterfall is about a 1-hour hike from the village. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions as you approach the waterfall.
Hiking
After reaching Jagat, the final leg to Octopus Waterfall requires a hike. The trail is well-marked, but it is advisable to wear good hiking shoes. The hike can take approximately 1 hour, depending on your pace. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the trail.
