Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Pokhara and head north on the Prithvi Highway (Himalayan Highway) towards Dumre. After approximately 20 km, take a left turn towards Kalikasthan. Follow the road for another 10 km until you reach the Kalika area. You can park your vehicle at the designated parking area near Thulakot ViewPoint. The view point is just a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Thulakot ViewPoint by public transportation, take a local bus or microbus from Pokhara to Kalikasthan. Buses regularly depart from the Lakeside area of Pokhara. The fare is around NPR 150-200 (approximately $1.25-1.75) and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kalikasthan, you may need to walk for about 15-20 minutes uphill to reach the viewpoint.
Taxi
For a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from Pokhara directly to Thulakot ViewPoint. The drive will take about 30 minutes and the fare is typically around NPR 1500-2000 (approximately $12-17). Confirm the fare before starting the journey. Taxis can drop you off close to the viewpoint, and it will only be a short walk to reach the top.
