Getting There

• Car or Private Vehicle

  If you are starting from Pokhara, you can hire a private vehicle or car to take you to Nayapul. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. From Nayapul, you will need to trek approximately 1-2 hours to reach Tikhedhunga or Ulleri, which are common starting points for the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Ensure you have your trekking permits ready before starting.

• Public Bus

  From Pokhara, you can take a local bus to Nayapul. The buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Nayapul, you can begin your trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri. Buses usually cost around NPR 200-300. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the most accurate departure times.

• Jeep or Shared Taxi

  For a quicker alternative, you can take a shared jeep or taxi from Pokhara to Nayapul. This option is more expensive than the bus, costing around NPR 500-800 per person, but it reduces travel time to about 1 hour. Upon reaching Nayapul, you will need to trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri to start your trek.

• Trekking

  Once you arrive in Nayapul, if you are on foot, you will trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri. The trek is relatively easy but be prepared for some uphill sections, especially if you choose Ulleri, which is about a 3-4 hour trek from Nayapul. Ensure you have enough water and snacks for the journey.
