    If you are traveling by car, start from Pokhara. Head north on the Prithvi Highway (Route 1) towards Mugling. After approximately 90 km, follow the signs to Beni. From Beni, take the road leading to Jomsom, which is about 80 km away. This road is winding and may take several hours, depending on road conditions. Once you reach Jomsom, continue towards Muktinath, which is about 20 km away and typically takes around 1 hour. Note that the road after Jomsom can be rough, and a 4WD vehicle might be necessary. Parking is available near the temple.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Pokhara, you can take a tourist bus to Jomsom. Buses depart from the Lakeside area and the journey takes about 8-10 hours. The cost is approximately NPR 1,500 to NPR 2,000. Once in Jomsom, you can hire a local jeep or take a local bus to Muktinath, which will take about 1 hour and costs around NPR 200. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently.

    If you're already trekking the Annapurna Circuit, you can reach Muktinath by continuing on foot from Jomsom.
