    Getting There

    Bus

    From any location in the Annapurna Circuit, head to the nearest bus station that services Besisahar. You can find local buses or microbuses heading to Besisahar, which is the gateway to the Manaslu Trekking Area. The bus ride will take approximately 6-8 hours. Once you arrive in Besisahar, you will need to transfer to another vehicle heading to Dharapani, which is approximately 3-4 hours away by jeep or local taxi.

    Jeep/Taxi

    From Besisahar, you can hire a jeep or take a local taxi to Dharapani. This journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and is an exciting ride. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually ranges from NPR 3,000 to NPR 4,500 depending on the vehicle type. Once you reach Dharapani, you are near the entrance to the Manaslu Trekking Area.

    Trekking

    Upon arriving in Dharapani, you can start your trek towards the Manaslu region. However, make sure to obtain the necessary permits for the Manaslu Conservation Area and Manaslu trekking permits beforehand. These can be obtained in Kathmandu or through trekking agencies in Besisahar. The entry point is located in Dharapani, and you can begin your adventure from there.
