Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Pokhara, head towards Besisahar and continue along the Prithvi Highway. From Besisahar, take the road to Chamje, then to Jagat. Continue along the Annapurna Circuit road until you reach Khangsar. Park your vehicle in Khangsar, where you will find local guesthouses and accommodations.

• Bus/Public Transportation

  From Pokhara, take a tourist bus to Besisahar. The journey takes about 6-7 hours. Once in Besisahar, transfer to a local jeep or bus heading to Jagat. The local transport options can be irregular, so be prepared for some waiting time. From Jagat, you will need to hike to Khangsar, which is a part of the Annapurna Circuit trek. The trek from Jagat to Khangsar typically takes 4-5 hours.

• Trekking

  Once you are in Khangsar, the final trek to Tilicho Lake View Point begins. The hike is challenging and can take around 3-4 hours depending on your pace. Follow the marked trails, and be prepared for steep ascents. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the way.

• Costs

  Costs may vary: expect to pay around NPR 500-1000 for the bus ride from Pokhara to Besisahar. Local jeep fares can range from NPR 200-500. Trekking permits for Annapurna Circuit typically cost NPR 2000 per person. Accommodations in Khangsar will also add to your overall costs, with guesthouses charging around NPR 1000-3000 per night.
