From the center of Bandipur, head towards the main path leading towards the north exit of the town. You will pass through the main market area where you can see various shops and eateries. Continue walking straight until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path, which will lead you downhill. As you walk, you will see beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Keep following the path until you reach the base of the hill where you will find a small bus stop. From here, you can catch a local bus heading towards Lekhnath, specifically asking for 'Bharat Pokhari Sadak' as your destination.
Local Bus
Once you arrive at the bus stop, check the bus timetable for the next bus heading to Lekhnath. Buses are typically frequent, but it’s good to check. When the bus arrives, make sure to confirm with the driver that they stop at Bharat Pokhari Sadak. After boarding, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30-40 minutes. Keep an eye out for landmarks as you approach Lekhnath. When the bus reaches Bharat Pokhari Sadak, you can disembark and find yourself at your destination.
Bicycle
If you prefer a more active approach, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Bandipur. Start from the center of Bandipur and follow the same initial route towards the north exit. As you reach the fork in the road, take the left path downhill. Continue cycling straight until you reach the base of the hill. From there, you can follow the main road leading into Lekhnath.
