If you are in the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head towards the eastern exit of the square. As you exit, follow the signs leading to the bus park. From the bus park, take the road towards the main highway, which is about a 15-20 minute walk. Once you reach the main road, look for a local bus heading to Kathmandu. Board the bus and tell the conductor you want to go to Hanuman Dhoka. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Another option is to head to the nearest local café or shop and ask for directions to the Bhaktapur bus station. Once you get to the bus station, find a bus that goes to Kathmandu. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Kathmandu, you can ask locals for directions to Hanuman Dhoka, which is a well-known landmark.

Cycling
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. From there, cycle towards the eastern exit of the square and continue along the road that leads to the main highway. After reaching the highway, take a left and follow the road to Kathmandu. The distance is about 12 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes. Once in Kathmandu, ask locals for the way to Hanuman Dhoka.
