Getting There

Walking
If you are in Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head towards the center of the square where you will find the 55-Window Palace. From there, the National Art Museum is just a short walk away. Walk towards the south side of the square, passing by the Nyatapola Temple on your left. Continue walking straight, and the entrance to the National Art Museum will be on your right, marked by statues of Hanuman.

If you are at the Bhaktapur Bus Park, exit the park and turn right onto the main road. Walk straight until you reach the entrance to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Once you enter the square, follow the path towards the 55-Window Palace. The National Art Museum is located on the south side of the square. After reaching the palace, continue towards the left side of the square to find the museum entrance.

From the Bhaktapur Palace Square, head towards the northern section of the square and look for the path leading to the 55-Window Palace. As you approach the palace, look for the large courtyard. The National Art Museum is located just off the courtyard on the south side. Keep an eye out for the entrance flanked by statues of Hanuman, which will guide you to the museum.
