Walking
From the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main street (Bhaktapur - Panauti Road). Continue walking along this road for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass through a residential area and see local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Panauti. When you reach the Panauti entrance, you will see a sign welcoming you to Panauti. Continue straight until you reach Indreshwor Temple Square, where the Panauti Museum is located.

From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus station, which is about a 10-minute walk south of the square. Look for a bus heading towards Panauti; these buses are typically marked with a sign on the windshield. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Panauti, exit the bus and walk towards Indreshwor Temple Square. The Panauti Museum will be located within the temple courtyard.

Cycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bhaktapur. Start your journey by heading east on the Bhaktapur - Panauti Road. The distance is about 2.5 kilometers. Follow the road and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive in Panauti, find your way to Indreshwor Temple Square. The museum is located within the temple complex.
