Getting There

Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head northwest towards the main exit of the square. Once you exit, turn left onto the main road (Chyamasingh Road). Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Bagmati River. Cross the river via the bridge. After crossing, turn right and follow the riverbank road until you reach the Chisapani Trek entrance, marked by signs. The Sundarijal Waterfall is located about 2.5 kilometers from the entrance, so follow the trekking path uphill until you reach the waterfall.

From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the main square. Take a local bus heading towards Kathmandu and ask the conductor to drop you off at Sundarijal (make sure to mention it as it may not be a common stop). Once you get off the bus at Sundarijal, follow the signs to the Chisapani Trek entrance. The Sundarijal Waterfall is a short trek from the entrance, approximately 2.5 kilometers uphill.
