From Thamel, walk to the Ratna Park bus station. Take a public bus heading towards Budhanilkantha, which should be marked with a sign indicating its destination. The ride will take about 30 to 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Budhanilkantha bus station, exit the bus, and you will see signs directing you to Budhanilkantha Temple. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, passing local shops and eateries. The temple entrance will be on your left, just before you reach the Nepal Vipassana Meditation Center.
