Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main street, and walk straight until you reach the junction. Continue straight, following the signs toward Taumadhi Square. Once you arrive at Taumadhi Square, you will see the 5 Storey Temple prominently located in the center of the square. It is hard to miss due to its tall, unique architecture.

If you are at the entrance of Bhaktapur (the Newars’ gateway), walk straight into the main market area. As you navigate through the narrow streets filled with shops, keep heading towards the east side of the market. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach Taumadhi Square where the 5 Storey Temple is located.

Starting from the 55-Window Palace, walk down towards the main square. Make a left and follow the road as it curves around. After a short walk, you will come to Taumadhi Square. The 5 Storey Temple will be directly ahead.
