Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kathmandu. Take the Arniko Highway towards Bhotechaur. After approximately 2 hours, you will reach Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, follow the road to Melamchi Bazar. Once you reach Melamchi, continue on the road until you reach Helambu. Look for the address 3G2J+H4W, Helambu, which is your destination. Ensure to check local traffic conditions as they can affect travel time.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kathmandu, head to the bus station at Ratna Park. Look for buses heading to Melamchi Bazar, which operate frequently. The bus ride takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Upon arrival at Melamchi Bazar, you can hire a local jeep or take a shared taxi to Helambu. The shared taxi will cost around NPR 200-300 per person and takes about 45 minutes to reach your destination at 3G2J+H4W, Helambu.
Trekking
For those adventurous enough to trek, you can start at Sundarijal and trek to Helambu. This trek typically takes 3 to 4 days, depending on your pace. You will need to arrange for a guide or join a trekking group, which may incur additional costs. Ensure to carry sufficient supplies, and be prepared for varying weather conditions.
