In November 2025, we spent about two and a half weeks traveling across Nepal with Sunil. It was worth every single second! Sunil is a sensational, open-minded, and friendly guide—and a true friend. He provided an authentic look into Nepalese culture and traditions, and constantly introduced us to new culinary delights. My trip using Bold Himalaya was perfect from start to finish, the driver was friendly, the car was very clean, and comfortable, our guides were very good, we had Suren for most of the trip, he was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, made me feel very safe, knew so much, and we experienced so much with him. Suren went out of his way, he is such a lovely guy. The hotels were very nice, the food was lovely, all the activities were well planed, great communication, had so much fun, can’t recommend more. Will use again for sure.

Every aspect of this holiday was perfect, thanks to a fantastic locally based company Swotah in Kathmandu. Although our original itinerary had to be changed, meaning we missed out on the Tibet region due to the devastating floods, the company responded quickly and professionally, arranging an alternative tour that allowed us to explore even more of Nepal. This included an incredible five-day safari in Bardiya and a peaceful escape to Balthali Valley. We also managed to visit Bhutan, which felt like stepping back in time — wonderfully serene, peaceful and fascinating. The professionalism of this company is truly first-class. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and all of our tour guides were knowledgeable, interesting and great fun to spend time with. Throughout the trip, we enjoyed incredible food, met wonderfully welcoming local people and experienced a culture that is deeply rooted in tradition.
