Car
From Gosaikunda, head south on the main road towards Dhunche. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Dhunche. From Dhunche, take the road leading south towards Kathmandu. After about 60 kilometers, you will enter the Kathmandu Valley. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Koteshwor Mahadevasthan. It is located on Mahadevsthan Marg in the Koteshwor area of Kathmandu, approximately 44600. The total distance from Gosaikunda to Koteshwor is around 90 kilometers, which may take about 3 to 4 hours by car depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Gosaikunda, walk to the nearest bus station in Dhunche. There are frequent buses that run from Dhunche to Kathmandu. The bus journey typically takes around 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, disembark at the New Bus Park, which is a major terminal. From there, you can either take a taxi or a local microbus towards Koteshwor. Inform the driver to drop you off at Mahadevsthan Marg. The total cost for the bus ride is approximately NPR 300 to NPR 500 depending on the bus service you choose.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Gosaikunda to Koteshwor Mahadevasthan. This will be more expensive than public transportation, with fares ranging from NPR 3500 to NPR 6000, depending on your negotiation skills and the taxi service.
