Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east on the main street (Siddhikali Road) for about 10 minutes until you reach the main highway (Araniko Highway). Turn right onto the highway and continue walking. After about 15 minutes, you will see the entrance to Mangal Bazaar on your left. Continue straight through the bazaar until you reach Shankhamul Marg. Follow Shankhamul Marg, and you will soon arrive at Shankhamul Bridge, which crosses over the Bagmati River. The bridge is located near Sankhamul Park.

If you are starting from the Bhaktapur Bus Park, exit the park and turn left onto the main road (Siddhikali Road). Walk through the bazaar and continue onto Shankhamul Marg, which will lead you directly to Shankhamul Bridge over the Bagmati River.
