Start your journey from Kathmandu. Drive towards the Nagarjun Forest Reserve. The most common route is via the Balaju Bypass road. Follow the signs to Nagarjun. The approximate distance is about 10 km, and it should take around 30-45 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Park your vehicle at the entrance of Nagarjun Forest Reserve.

From Kathmandu, take a local bus or microbus from the Ratna Park bus station towards Balaju. Get off at Balaju and take a taxi or local transportation towards Nagarjun Forest Reserve. The bus ride costs around NPR 30-50 and takes about 30 minutes. The taxi from Balaju to the reserve will cost approximately NPR 500-700 and takes about 15-20 minutes.
