    Car

    If you are driving from Kathmandu, take the Araniko Highway towards Bhaktapur. After approximately 30 km, turn onto the Helambu Road at Sindhupalchok. Continue on this road for about 70 km until you reach Ichok, a small village. The Helambu Great Trail is located near WGVG+QCX, Unnamed Road, Ichok. Make sure to follow the signs for Helambu Trek and ask locals for directions if needed.

    Public Transportation

    From Kathmandu, take a microbus or tourist bus to Melamchi, which costs around NPR 300-500 and takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Melamchi, transfer to a local jeep or bus heading towards Ichok. The fare for this leg is approximately NPR 100-200 and takes about 30-45 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Helambu Great Trail, located at WGVG+QCX, Unnamed Road, Ichok.

    Walking

    If you are already in Ichok, you can walk to the Helambu Great Trail. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the village center. Head towards the unnamed road marked on the map (WGVG+QCX), and follow it until you see signs for the Helambu Great Trail. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.
