Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kathmandu. Head northeast on Tridevi Marg towards the intersection with Durbar Marg. Continue straight onto Bhaktapur Road and merge onto Kapan Road. After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto Ram Mandir Marg. Himalayan Friends Trekking will be on your right. Ensure you have local currency for parking fees, which can vary depending on the area.

To reach Himalayan Friends Trekking by public transportation, head to the Ratna Park Bus Station in Kathmandu. Look for a bus heading towards Kapan. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. After getting off at the Kapan stop, walk down Kapan Road for about 10 minutes until you reach Ram Mandir Marg, then turn right. The trekking office will be on your right. The bus fare is usually around 30-50 NPR.

For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Kathmandu. Simply tell the driver to take you to Ram Mandir Marg in Kapan. The journey should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Prepare to pay around 800-1200 NPR for the ride. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a motorcycle from one of the local rental shops in Thamel. From Thamel, ride northeast towards the ring road and follow the signs to Kapan.
