If you are starting from Thamel, drive towards the Basantapur area. Head southeast on Pradarshani Marg, then take a left onto Chaksibari Marg. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto New Road and continue straight until you reach the Basantapur area. You should see signs for Basantapur Dabali. There is limited parking available, so be prepared to park in nearby areas and walk a short distance.

From Thamel, walk to the nearest microbus station, which is located at the end of Dilli Bazaar. Take a microbus heading towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. The fare is around NPR 15-20. Ask the conductor to let you know when you reach Basantapur. Once you get off, walk towards Kathmandu Durbar Square, and you will find Basantapur Dabali nearby.
