Getting There

Walking
From the center of Nagarkot, head down the main road towards the bus stop. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Bhaktapur. Turn left at this intersection and follow the road downhill. Keep walking for about 30 minutes until you reach the Nagpokhari Marg. Once you reach Nagpokhari Marg, turn right and continue walking for another 10 minutes. You will see Naag Pokhari on your left side.

Starting from the viewpoint in Nagarkot, take the trail that leads west towards the forest. Follow the path until you reach a clearing with a signpost. From there, take the left path that leads down the hill. After approximately 40 minutes of trekking, you will come to Nagpokhari Marg. Turn right and walk for about 10 minutes until you see Naag Pokhari on your left.

Local Bus
While local buses may not operate specifically to Naag Pokhari, you can take a local bus from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur. Board the bus at the main bus stop in Nagarkot and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Nagpokhari Marg stop. Once you arrive, walk back along Nagpokhari Marg for about 10 minutes to reach Naag Pokhari.
