Walking
Start at Thamel, a popular tourist area in Kathmandu. From Thamel, head southeast on Kantipath road towards Ratna Park. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pashupati Nath Road. Turn left onto Pashupati Nath Road and walk straight for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Bhandarkhal Jungle. Follow the road until you reach the entrance, which is located at coordinates 27.7096468, 85.3420728.
Public Transport (Microbus)
From Thamel, walk to the nearest microbus station, which is located on the corner of Bagbazar. Board a microbus heading towards Pashupati. The fare is typically around 30 NPR. Stay on the microbus for about 20 minutes, and ask the conductor to let you know when to get off at Pashupati Nath. Once you disembark, walk down Pashupati Nath Road for about 10 minutes until you see the signs for Bhandarkhal Jungle.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Thamel. From Thamel, cycle southeast on Kantipath road until you reach Ratna Park. Then, make a left onto Pashupati Nath Road. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Bhandarkhal Jungle. Be cautious of traffic and pedestrians along the way.
