Getting There

Walking
From the center of Kathmandu Durbar Square, head southwest towards the Thamel area. Walk along the narrow streets until you reach the ring road. Once you reach the ring road, turn left and head south for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. Keep walking until you see the Kirtipur sign, which indicates you are close. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of Kirtipur town. Once in Kirtipur, follow the main road, and after about 500 meters, you will see Chilancho on your left.

From Kathmandu Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Ratna Park. Look for a microbus heading towards Kirtipur. Board the bus, and the fare is usually around 30-50 NPR. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Kirtipur, get off the bus at the main bus stop. From there, walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find Chilancho on your left.

In Thamel or Kathmandu Durbar Square, find a cycle rickshaw. Negotiate the fare to Kirtipur, which should be around 300-500 NPR depending on your starting point. The rickshaw will take you along the main roads towards Kirtipur.
