Walking
If you are in Thamel, start by heading east on the main road (Tridevi Marg) towards the Ratna Park area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Durbar Marg, then turn left. Walk along Durbar Marg until you reach the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Once you are at the square, exit towards the east side, which is where you will find the entrance to Basantapur. Continue walking down the road until you reach Ganga Path. Lohan Chowk is located along Ganga Path, specifically at the coordinates P835+J35. It should take about 20-30 minutes on foot from Thamel.
Public Transport (Microbus or Local Bus)
From Thamel, make your way to the nearest microbus stop. You can catch a microbus heading towards Ratna Park. Get off at the Ratna Park stop, which is a major hub. From there, walk towards the Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring the Square, head towards Basantapur and then follow the path to Ganga Path. Lohan Chowk is located at P835+J35 on Ganga Path. The entire journey should take around 30-45 minutes, including waiting times.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from Thamel and head southeast towards the main road. Turn left onto Durbar Marg and continue cycling until you reach Kathmandu Durbar Square. After visiting the square, exit towards Basantapur and cycle down Ganga Path. Lohan Chowk is located at P835+J35 along this road. Depending on traffic, this route should take approximately 20 minutes.
