If you are starting from the Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple), head downhill from the stupa area. As you descend, look for signs directing you towards the Swayambhu area. Continue walking down the path until you reach the main road. From the main road, turn left and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see a sign for Maha Manjushree Temple on your right side. Follow the path that leads up to the temple.

If you are starting from Thamel, a popular tourist area in Kathmandu, walk towards the Ratna Park area. From Ratna Park, head west towards the Kaal Bhairav Temple. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction at the Nepal Tourism Board. Take a left turn and walk straight for about 20 minutes until you see the Swayambhu Stupa. After visiting the stupa, follow the earlier directions from Swayambhunath to reach Maha Manjushree Temple.
