Once you reach Budhanilkantha, you will see a road leading up to the temple. The driver can drop you off at the base of the hill; from there, you'll need to hike up a short but steep path to reach Nagi Gumba.

From Thamel, walk to the Ratna Park bus station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once there, look for a bus heading towards Budhanilkantha. The fare is very cheap, around 30 NPR. After around 45 minutes, get off at the Budhanilkantha stop. From there, ask locals for directions to Nagi Gumba; it’s a well-known site. You will need to walk approximately 20 minutes uphill to reach the temple.

It’s about 7 km and will take roughly 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Budhanilkantha, park your bicycle safely and follow the signs to Nagi Gumba, which is a short uphill walk from the main road.
