Getting There

Walking
If you are in the Thamel area, start walking towards the north along the main road (Tridevi Marg). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Ring Road. Cross the road carefully and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a large blue building on your right side; this is Nayabazar. Turn right at the next junction after that building. You will find Nepal Hiking Team at Nayabazar 16, a few meters down the road.

From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus stop which is at the corner of Durbar Marg. Take a bus that heads towards Balaju or Kirtipur. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Nayabazar. Once you reach Nayabazar, get off the bus and walk towards Nayabazar 16. Nepal Hiking Team is located within this area. Be sure to ask locals if you are unsure of your location.

From your accommodation in Thamel, hire a cycle rickshaw. Negotiate the fare beforehand, ideally around 200-300 NPR. Ask the rickshaw driver to take you to Nayabazar.
