If you are in Thamel, start by heading east towards the Ratna Park area. From Ratna Park, take the road leading to the Bagmati River. You will see a bridge called the 'Maharajgunj Bridge'. Cross the bridge and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Pashupati Nath Road. Turn right onto Pashupati Nath Road, and you will see Pashupatinath Temple on your left.

From Kathmandu Durbar Square, exit the square and head towards Indra Chowk. From Indra Chowk, take the road leading you to the east, passing through the busy streets filled with shops. Eventually, you will reach the Bagmati River. Walk along the river for about 2 kilometers until you reach Pashupati Nath Road. Turn left on Pashupati Nath Road, and Pashupatinath Temple will be ahead.
