Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Thamel, start by heading east towards the Ratna Park area. From Ratna Park, take the road leading to the Bagmati River. You will see a bridge called the 'Maharajgunj Bridge'. Cross the bridge and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Pashupati Nath Road. Turn right onto Pashupati Nath Road, and you will see Pashupatinath Temple on your left.

  • Walking

    From Kathmandu Durbar Square, exit the square and head towards Indra Chowk. From Indra Chowk, take the road leading you to the east, passing through the busy streets filled with shops. Eventually, you will reach the Bagmati River. Walk along the river for about 2 kilometers until you reach Pashupati Nath Road. Turn left on Pashupati Nath Road, and Pashupatinath Temple will be ahead.

  • Public Bus

    Head to the nearest bus stop in your area. Look for a bus heading towards 'Pashupatinath'. The bus will typically display its destination on the front. After boarding, stay on the bus for about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Pashupatinath bus stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards Pashupati Nath Road, and you will find the temple nearby.
