From there, take a right onto the road leading to the south which will eventually become Lagankhel. Continue straight until you reach the Lagankhel bus station. From Lagankhel, you can take a local bus or walk towards Patan. If you prefer walking, it’s about a 20-minute stroll from Lagankhel to Patan Darbar Square. As you walk, keep an eye for the Patan Museum sign, which is located near the square.

    Public Bus

    From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus stop on Durbar Marg and catch a bus heading towards Lagankhel. The bus fare is very affordable. Once you arrive at Lagankhel, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a short taxi or rickshaw ride to Patan Darbar Square.
