    Getting There

    Local Bus

    From the center of Kathmandu, head to the Ratna Park bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Godawari or Phulchowki. The fare is inexpensive, usually around 30-50 NPR. Once on the bus, inform the conductor you want to get off at Godawari. After approximately 30-45 minutes, you will reach Godawari. Once you disembark, head towards the Godawari temple and follow the signs for the Phulchowki trail, which will be a short walk from the temple.

    Microbus

    You can take a microbus from the New Road area in Kathmandu. Look for a microbus that has 'Godawari' written on it. The microbus will take you directly to Godawari and may take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. After getting off at Godawari, walk towards the main entrance of the Phulchowki hiking trail, which is clearly marked.

    Rickshaw

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a rickshaw from anywhere in Kathmandu. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it should cost around 500-800 NPR to Godawari. The rickshaw will take you directly to the trailhead of Phulchowki. Just tell the driver 'Phulchowki Mai' or 'Godawari'.
