From the center of Durbar Square, head towards the eastern side where you will see the entrance to the Nine Storey Palace, also known as the Basantapur Durbar. Walk past the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, which is marked by its distinct architecture. Look for the large wooden doors that lead into the palace complex.
